Poi mi e’ pure giunta una mail da Lessig.
In ricerca di fondi e di sostegno, e credo proprio che faro’ la mia parte, ma non nel modo previsto…

Ovviamente e’ pur sempre una raccolta fondi, ne’ piu’ ne’ meno. Con lati che fanno pensare.
Ma e’ quello che puo’ darci questo diritto nuovo, piu’ equo e libero, che va diffuso come principio e come nuova metodologia di approccio verso i commons e il diritto d’autore, e non solo.

D’altronde non si puo’ solo lamentarsi, ma occorre contribuire alle cause nelle quali si crede, e che sono utili allo sviluppo collettivo. Oltre che a quello personale.

Una chicca: il progetto Science Commons sta usando una piattaforma Semantic Web based, che dovrebbe essere rilasciata a breve… .)
Nel progetto Neurocommons, in particolare:

The Neurocommons project is creating an Open Source knowledge management platform for biological research. The first phase, a pilot project to organize and structure knowledge by applying text mining and natural language processing to open biomedical abstracts, was released to alpha testers in February 2007. The second phase is the development of a data analysis software system. The software will be released by Science Commons under the BSD Open Source License. These two elements together represent a viable open source platform based on open content and open Web standards.

In 2007 Science Commons intends to roll out artifacts and demonstrations that show **the construction of a semantic web for science **- in particular, for neuroscience. Our efforts toward such a “Neurocommons” are in three areas:
